Occupy Ventura is Here!

Looks like the revolution is arriving in Ventura some time over the next couple of weeks.  As part of the 99% I’m glad to hear it!  I’ve moved my money from the big four Banksters but am ready to do more.  I’m not sure exactly what yet, but this movement is still in its infancy and will hopefully mature quickly into a true revolution against the 1% of the population that is running this country into the ground.

    Hello,

I am for all of our civil rights and civil liberties. But this all started back when you 99 percent of the voters. I mean those that voted for Obama decided to make history and jump on the band wagon without reading about your presidential nominees. I do what did you people expect to happen. You can blame it all on the former elections and not accept responsibility for your actions.
I usually do not express my feelings or opinions about things related to politics because everyone is so quick to say what an idiot someone is, but lets put the buck where it really belongs.
The one percent as you say who own and run this country, who are they. Lets give them names and faces. Are we talking about corporate america or the banks. You uneducated people jumping from bandwagon to bandwagon need to wake up. Crashing a huge investment bank is not the answer to making a statement. Oh it will wake up those that do invest and then they will take their money and run. Leaving more people out of work, displacing more jobs over seas where economic stability is on the rise(China, Japan), these countries may not look like much. But they definitely have a good economy. Not because the people believe in it, but because their leaders made good choices.
I can say I do agree with the 99% percent on some points, but to me, as it looks right now. This is not a real movement, yet. But more of a modern day witch hunt. I do know that if you really want to get your point across. Vote, write letters to your senators, representatives, be involved and most importantly do not vote just because it is popular. Educate yourselves on the nominees and then when you believe you know enough to make an informed decision, then vote.
