I look at the headlines of the Ventura County Star every day hoping to see that there’s been a break in the Husted Murders, or one of the other two unsolved murders we’ve had in Ventura this year. So far I have been disappointed on a daily basis.  Is our local law enforcement so inept that someone can walk into a home and brutally murder a couple with their kids in the house and get away completely free?   Where is the outrage from the citizenry?  At least some people are trying to keep the conversation going on the Star’s Comments Page.

Now that a few months have passed everyone seems to be forgetting the terror and sadness we felt.  This murderer could still be among us waiting for us to let our guard down so he can go on another rampage.  Keep those doors locked and stay safe.  We have at least two active murderers possibly walking our streets.  Thanks a lot VPD.
